Hence CollegeSuccessLife.com is a college information resource for all college-bound and currently enrolled college students and their families.

Also, sharing personal experiences about overcoming obstacles and challenges related to college life is very important to our mission.

And, as a result, we only accept original, high-quality guest posts on topics directly related to the college experience.

For example, here is a list of potential College Success Life topics:

  • adjusting to college life,
  • college success strategies,
  • college/work life balance,
  • college academic policies,
  • college admissions,
  • and financial aid, just to name a few.

Also, if you decide to submit a guest post for consideration, then before you do so, please read and agree to abide by the following guidelines.

Guest Posts Do’s and Don’ts

Eligible for Consideration:

  • Posts need to be well written, using the tone and spirit of College Success Life, and requiring little or no editing; formatted with a title, and 500–700 words.
  • Authors’ bio – up to 75 words, including one link to the author’s website and/or social media.
  • Also, authors have the option of submitting a photo with their bio.
  • Guest posts’ content must be original material and cannot be published elsewhere.
  • However, it may be freely linked to and shared through social media.
  • In addition, legitimate sources need to be cited appropriately, with links included.
  • And make sure that statistics, if used, are up to date.
  • You retain ownership of your post.
  • If, however, you publish elsewhere at a later date, please reference that the work originally appeared on College Success Life and link to our website.
  • When re-posting your guest post on your own website or blog, please link to the original version of your article/essay on our site.
  • Guest posts must meet our editorial quality standards in order to be published.
  • We are not obligated to provide you with a reason for rejecting your submitted post.
  • And we reserve the right to remove and/or delete the post without notice for any reason we deem sufficient.
  • We also vet each accepted draft guest post through a plagiarism checker. And you must resolve any discrepancies accordingly.
  • We also reserve the right to edit blog posts as necessary and to select an image from our own photo library to illustrate the blog posts.
  • Finally, if you would like to submit your own image to illustrate the blog post, please only send the images that you own or have permission to publish.
  • Also include all credits and/or attributions required for the image.

Ineligible for Consideration:

  • Guest posts including authors bios that advocate, encourage use, and/or link to essay writing sites, loan providers, and other for-profit student/educational related entities.

Whenever a college student faces an academic and/or social challenge, they often ask a peer or a friend first for advice. And that’s okay.

However, resolving the issue to your best advantage often requires consulting with an academic advising professional as well.

Your academic adviser knows the campus academically, administratively, and socially.

And what they don’t know, they can point you to the person who does know.  Include this strategy in your current plan for college success.
